Great fantastic steak, and service.

This place gives fantastic service as well as delightful menu. My favourite place in town. The food and drinks arrived rapidly and the rates were economical. I recommend this place.

Spent a couple days in Philly with my husband because he had a conference in center city. We wanted a nice place to go out to eat, and we heard great things about Citron & Rose. We loved the ambiance in the evening and all the food we ate was delicious. Definitely recommend!

Low key, muted, warm spiced. Original, character. Your great aunts’ house; your hipster nephew is mixing the drinks. You’ll love it/ keep it a secret.

This restaurant is great! The food is very well done and tasty. The service is fast and the waiters are really nice. Shoutout to Patty who promised to buy us churros if we go back (bc we coudnt decide what dessert to get.. GET THE PISTACHIO CAKE! IT WAS HEAVENLY) what i enjoyed a lot was that the portions were a good size so by the end of the meal youre not feeling stuffed, rather, pleasantly satisfied. We ate outside and it was real nice. Pleasant songs and service was just as fast as it was inside. Citron and rose tavern is totally worth while.

The food is always fresh and yummy, workers hands over awesome customer service. I liked how neat it is and atmosphere. Will visit here again.

This place has some of the most amazing food I have ever had. I ate the lamb shank for dinner. The flavors are a beautiful blend of herbs and tomatoes that accent the meat perfectly. Dessert was chocolate lava cake with a touch of ice cream. The lava cake was a chocolate explosion of joy. The ice cream had a soft taste of vanilla, but not the fake vanilla flavor, smooth and not the 'crying in your pjs stuffing your face with vanilla cheap ice cream'. This place is also Kosher which makes dinner with Jewish friends easier. You don't have to be Jewish to eat here, just be hungry. It's a little pricey, but I feel it's worth the price.

This spot has first-rate service as well as delicious food. One of the best restaurant around here. The food came out quick and the rates are fair. Recommended.

EXCELLENT Kosher food. Ton's of catering offered and quite the bite. Can be very empty at times, but so much space and so easy on the eyes. I could sit and relax here forever. The inside looks like as if Pier One and a restaurant had a baby, this would be their golden child.

I regularly stop purchasing some food in this spot. I love the swift service and well cooked dishes. Highly recommended.

Service was slow. Very small portions for the price. Maybe I'm spoiled because I'm from New York but this was a major letdown. Food was nothing special, meat was very fatty Good ambiance though, and nice staff. They brought one of our dishes very very late so they didn't make us pay for it

Best Kosher food in greater Philadelphia area

Beautiful interior design and nice athmosphere in the restaurant. Excellent service. Food could be better. Briskets were not cooked well. Brocolli and avocado salad was not tasty. Chicken meat balls were not tasty. Kids menu was fine. Tomaten soup tasted like a heat up ketchup. So food was not satisfactory but it is nice place to spend a dinner time with friends and family.

Pro: the ambiance is absolutely amazing and the coffee beverages are very nice. Con: very expensive, food is salty and oily with little other spice , very small portions.It was the day after Pesach and we were informed there was a shortened menu, so maybe we didn’t have the full experience .... but overall not impressed. If I’m going to travel outside the city for good kosher food I’d much rather go a little further to Judah Mediterranean Grill for a more family friendly flavorful ordeal. This would be a good spot to have a drink and appetizer while chatting at the bar.

The service is constantly rapid, fantastic mood, very nice staff. I will return here again when I am in town.

Friendly service, great kosher food. Burgers, steaks, short ribs, appetizers, everything is great... I would give them 5 stars if their service was faster. But their food is very good, especially for kosher which isn't easy to find in Philadelphia.

A really, really, great makeover of a 3 star restaurant. A bigger menu, excellent specials, I really had an amazing time there. Combined with an amazing waiter and a nice atmosphere, I used to rate The Tavern at a 3.5 star, but with this makeover, it deserves a 5.

Great place, interesting environment inside, very relaxing. Quick service, delicious looking menu and exquisite food for your palette. The only down side are the prices but if you can afford it, it's worth it.

Really nice looking place. Great tasting food. Nice size portions. Good prices. Nice ambiance. Server Ericka was really nice and friendly. It took a bit longer then average for the food to start coming out, but once it did, it all came out at the same time. We were able to eat all together without having to wait. P.s the lights were surging the whole time. You might have an electrical problem.

Definitely a place worth stopping over, the food is great and well prepared, the pricing is reasonable and it is consistently well kept there. Highly recommended.

We visited from Brooklyn NY and had our best restaurant experience ever right here at Citron & Rose. Where to begin? The ambiance was incredible! Lovely decor and the combination of dim evening lighting and candle in the table together with the gentle music made our experience quite romantic. The food was out of this world! The staff was so sweet, patient and helpful. The drinks were delicious and fairly priced. We ended this lovely experience with a delicious desert freshly baked. Amazing food and great service!

I enjoy Citron & Rose every time! (I travel often - prior to COVID - and have been at many restaurants. C&R ranks as one of my favorites, only 2nd to Pat's in Los Angeles.)I'm including two images here, one is my wife's entree, I'll get the name later, but mine is the dragon burger. Delicious!Next time I plan to order one of the house steaks and I'll be sure to post an update.Bottom line, Citron & Rose comes highly recommended.

Went for an anniversary. They put out Rose's for us, gave us a quiet table away from everyone else and treated us like royalty.Thank you to Carlos and B for amazing over the top service and to the chefs for an unforgettable feast.
